When should I Book?
Since your baby's arrival will likely be unpredictable, I recommend scheduling your newborn session 12-16 weeks before the due date.
How old should my newborn be photographed?
I prefer to photograph babies when they are 5-16 days old, as this is the prime time for newborn sessions when they tend to sleep more. Unless the baby is a premie, 16-30 days.
Can I request specific setups?
You can make requests for specific poses or setups based on the package you select. However, please understand that I prioritize your baby's safety and comfort, and some poses may not be suitable for newborns.
Do you provide all the props?
On the day of the session, I will provide all props, wraps, and accessories. We will select a color scheme, and based on that, I will create a set with you. Upon arrival, I will present you with options of props, wraps, and accessories to choose from. Communication is key, and I will guide you thoroughly throughout the entire session, keeping you informed of what is happening.
When should I notify the photographer baby has arrived?
24-48 hrs
I'll make arrangements to accommodate your newborn. If your bundle of joy arrives earlier than expected, Newborn sessions are scheduled on weekday mornings only and can last up to 3 hours.
Are siblings permitted to attend a session?
For the success of the session, I ask that, if possible, only adults attend, as babies require a quiet space to be photographed while sleeping. A maximum of 3 adults are permitted. Additionally, I kindly request that any children younger than 6 years of age not attend the session, unless they are participating in the session. Please ensure that if this is the case, you bring reinforcements, snacks, tablets, or anything to keep the little one(s) occupied. Maintaining a quiet environment is crucial for capturing your newborn's photos while they peacefully sleep.
Do you share images on social media?
I love to provide a sneak peek of your session if time permits. Additionally, I may use images from your final gallery on my social media, website, or blog for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to have your child's images shared in this way, please let me know before the session.
How long is your turnaround time?
I require 15 business days to curate your images.
